Flight Review / Rusty Pilot Course

Refresh your skills. Renew your confidence. Return to the skies.

Service Description

Flight Review & Rusty Pilot Course – Welcome Back to the Sky Been a while since you’ve flown? You're not alone—and you're more than welcome here. Whether you’re overdue for a required Flight Review or haven’t flown in years and want to get back in the air, our tailored Rusty Pilot program will help you regain your confidence, refresh your knowledge, and return to flying safely and smoothly. The FAA requires a Flight Review every 24 calendar months to act as Pilot in Command (PIC). But beyond that, pilots often step away from flying due to life, work, or other responsibilities. Our course is designed to meet you wherever you are—no judgment, just personalized instruction to help you get comfortable and current again. What’s included: A minimum of 1 hour of ground review (as required by FAR 61.56) A minimum of 1 hour of flight training, focusing on your individual needs Review of regulations, airspace, weather, and flight planning Practice of essential flight maneuvers and procedures Optional extended sessions for those who’ve been out of the cockpit for longer If you’re a "rusty" pilot—whether it’s been 2 years or 20—we'll customize your training to gradually rebuild your skills. You'll work one-on-one with a certified flight instructor in a relaxed, supportive environment, using modern aircraft and current teaching techniques. We’ll help you get up to speed on any changes to regulations, airspace classifications, ATC procedures, or avionics systems. You’ll leave the course not just legally current, but truly confident in your abilities to fly safely again. This course is ideal for: Pilots needing a Flight Review (FAR 61.56) Rusty pilots returning after a long break Lapsed student pilots looking to resume training Pilots who want a refresher before a new certificate or rating Flying again is easier than you think. Let’s get you back in the cockpit—safely, confidently, and on your schedule.
